"When the cherry trees blossom" is a photographic
essay about the largest 1-family house area in
Denmark. It has nearly 4000 inhabitants. Almost
half of the Danish population live in areas like this.

These areas have altered the Danish landscape
dramatically since they rose from the ground in
the early 1960's, and it has since been the preferred way to live for most Danes. Most of us grew up
in places like this, and most of us will have family
of our own in these areas.

This is safe, practical and convenient.

The project focuse on the landscape, the
architecture and the people living in it.
